Powua is based on the most advanced technologies in the world, now and forever. For this reason we have chosen the market leader in each of their respective sectors and nothing is unintentional in the building of our infrastructure. Powua can be completely customized by our professional users and you can order configuration of up to 128 machines (for a total of 256 processors and 512 cores) and 30 terabytes of permanent storage. There are many possible combinations and we invite you to write to us at reserve@powua.com for more information.
The system accessible to our users during the free Beta period is composed by 4 server, dual processor, dual cores at 64 bit (Intel Xeon 5130 2 Ghz Bus 1033 Mhz) for a total of 8 cores, every one set up with 4 (master) or 2 (nodes) gigabytes of FBDIMM RAM and a large amount of storage divided between one permanent 3Gb storage (at your disposal up to 5 days before and after your session) and a temporary local storage of 160 gigabytes per machine (which is usable only during the connection to Powua). The permanent storage is stored on a SAN (high performance group of hard drives) connected to the master node with a fiber channel (fiber optics) interface at 4 GB/s, the maximum speed achievable today with this technology.

We have chosen an Italian company, E4 (www.e4company.com) as our hardware partner.
